DJ Funky Mosquito - Propeller Mix Five Ramp-Shows (This is Old School)

DJ Funky Mosquito Propeller Mix Five Ramp-Shows (This is Old School) by Funky Mosquito

These are the roots. This is old school. Where today's music comes from or has been inspired. At the end it goes to the new swing and nu blues...till the club hits in another way.

This "live-mix" was specially selected to start on the http://ramp-shows.blogspot.com. Invited from Mr. Nu-funk: Lebrosk. So it's a pleasure to go back, back into the time of the old school to refresh the roots and putting the classics up again but mostly re-edited and remixed for today's conaisseurs of funky music.

Passed 3/4 hours a little escape to the world of D&B and dubstep and a short change into the nu electrifying swing to end finally in the club scene and coming down with "papa was a rolling stone" reggae re-worked.

Audio Infunktion - Ramp Show (November 2011)

This is first radio show i did for Ramp Shows ! Since its radio, this is not reflection of my sound when im playin in club. I like radio format cause you can play music you like, and which is inspirational to you, without pressure to be club oriented, banging, raving, etc. Of course, some of the shows gonna be heavy, but some of them not. This one (ramp 001) is mixture of different sounds and grooves im listening these days, old ones & new ones.

So, just turn up your speakers or headphones, grab some drink and cigar (if you preffer some other smoke, even better) and enjoy the ride. Next show gonna be on a totally other tip, so, stay tuned...Cheers

After growing tired of their individual DJ performances, Breaks & Enter residents Devastatin,Dave & Dominic Lennon (DJL) joined forces to bring forward the collaboration Datadex.

With a firm direction focused on production in both the original and remix realms Datadex aspire to bring something exclusive to their performances. Not ones to be bound to any specific genre Datadex maintain a keen interest in a wide variety of music often sampling or editing different genre's to fit their broken beat style club sets with the end result being a hard kicking bass heavy party sound guaranteed to please a dancefloor.
With their inspiration coming from live Dex & Fx acts such as Drummatic Twins, Stanton Warriors and Bitrok, Datadex aim to deliver a set loaded with both music and vocal samples layered to a tracklist of exclusive edits, bootlegs & club bombs.

Their first promo mix "Love To Edit" was featured on ID's Bass Music blog, and has been heard on radio's from the Gold Coast to Budapest and as far as Russia and most recently their re-rubs of Coburns - We Interupt this program & Passion Pitt - Little Secrets ( Jack Beats Remix ) being played on BBC1 Radio on Annie Nightingale's Show. With their exclusive edits & bootlegs receiving international support by artists such as Krafty Kuts, Lady Waks & Marten Hoerger
DJ Icey & local DJ's, Datadex have their creative minds locked on bringing a big bass sound, ensuring those who listen cannot help but be drawn to the dance floor.

After successfully supporting the likes of Stanton Warriors (UK), The Freestyers (UK), Drummatic Twins (UK), NAPT (UK), Adsorb (UK), Soul Of Man(UK) & Skool of Thought (UK), Datadex look forward to expressing their large bass heavy party sound and bringing something unique but recognisable to the dancefloor.

Groove Fellaz - Time Machine 2011 Promo Mix

Time Machine is our second and last Promo Mix for this year. It’s goal is it to lead you trough the last 7 decades of music not defined to a genre. Be prepared to hear hip hop mashed with funk, rock and pop without losing the ghetto funky, bass heavy style you’re used from us. We have put some hard work and a lot of time in this mix. It’s sometimes a bit rough on the edges but we hope you like it anyway! Some Stuff is edited but everything is mixed and recorded live.

Give yourself 60 minutes, lean back and let this mix take you on a journey through time and sound!

We want to thank all the awesome artists and producers for sending us promos and of course for doing such great music. This is also a tribute to you guys.

Also thanks to DJ Icey for doing some great drops for us (check out his awesome work here: DJ Icey) and Merlin Miller from OneMoreHit (https://www.facebook.com/OneMoreHit)

For this mix we thought we might do a little challenge for you guys,
If we get at least the same amount of comments, plays, downloads and stuff as on our prior mix (Time For A Break! Mix by Groove Fellaz) we’ll give away something pretty cool for free, so comment, share and enjoy!
